Bathroom Designs

Seeking divine bathroom designs?  Well, in order to find the one that will work with your space, you must first try and hunt down a bit of inspiration.

Inspiration is a tricky thing to capture. You may think that you are full of it until it comes to planning a tight space. Then, out of nowhere, your inspiration jumps out of that small window and you are left helpless. Many homeowners find themselves in the midst of a half-finished renovation pulling their hair out. If this sounds a lot like the conundrum that you are in, take a few steps away from that room and head out into the open air for a few moments.

You see, you will need to find that inspiration once again before you can even set foot inside that space. To do this, head to the library and start to look through magazines. Now, you don’t need to pick up design magazines – any advertisement featuring an ideal space will do. If this doesn’t work, stop by a few open houses and take a gander at some of the powder rooms inside of those homes – do they inspire you? If so, you can now begin to work on creating the look that you desire.

Even if you have a very small space, you can still turn it into your own personal oasis with just a few design tricks. Consider painting the ceiling, the walls, the floors, and anything else that has seen better days, and then measure all the areas containing your bathtub, toilet, and sink. Now, set a budget for yourself (if you intend to replace these things), and start shopping. As soon as you walk into any large home store, you will find that bathroom designs are nearly everywhere.

The trick is to get those measurements done properly (you want your new fixtures to fit, right?). Once you have all the numbers that you need, you can then begin to choose any style that you want. These days, most things can be custom ordered, so don’t fret if your desired object doesn’t come in the right size out of the box.

Bathroom designs don’t have to be frustrating if you measure, set a budget, and stick to those things that you love. Don’t forget -- make sure to capture that inspiration by the toe and don’t let it go.
